Day 1
You will be met at Cape Town Airport and transferred to your hotel in this beautiful city, within sight of Table Mountain.

Check in and relax in your magnificent surroundings.
Day 2
Today enjoy a full day private tour of the beautiful city of Cape Town.

Weather permitting, we start by ascending Table Mountain by cable car to see one of the world's most famous views (alternatively we will drive up Signal Hill). We then drive around the city to see the key sights including the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, City Hall, Greenmarket Square, Houses of Parliament, Bo Kaap, Castle of Good Hope, District Six and Sea Point.

After lunch (own account) we continue to beautiful Kirstenbosch Gardens, nestled on the eastern slopes of Table Mountain and regarded as one the most beautiful botanic gardens in the world. Bequeathed to the nation by Cecil John Rhodes, the garden was established 1913. There is an avenue of camphor trees, a beautiful protea and fynbos garden, useful plants garden, sculpture garden and a dell garden as well as a world class collection of indigenous South African flora. Wonderful summer sunset concerts are held in the gardens on Sunday evenings from December to March.
Day 3
At leisure to relax at your hotel or independently explore the vibrant Victoria & Alfred Waterfront.

You can also visit the Mandela Legacy Exhibition at the City Hall, but if you want an accessible transfer this needs to be booked in advance.
Day 4
Today your guide will collect you for a full day tour to the beautiful Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve.

Enjoy wonderful ocean views as we drive around the Cape Peninsula to naval Simonstown, where we visit the resident penguin colony at Boulders Beach.

We continue to Cape Point where we hope to see baboons, ostrich and perhaps even dolphins or whales in season (July to November). We take an accessible funicular ride up to the Old Lighthouse, before returning via spectacular Chapman’s Peak Drive to Hout Bay and Cape Town.
Day 5
Transfer 2-hours today from Cape Town to the small seaside town of Hermanus.

Check in to your hotel and enjoy the natural beauty of the coastline. From July to November, southern right and humpback whales come here to breed and this is considered the best location for land-based Whale Watching in the world. Once severely endangered, these magnificent creatures of the deep are now breeding successfully in the area due to a major international conservation effort.
Day 6
In season, enjoy Whale Watching from the cliffs of Hermanus. Weather permitting, you can book an optional boat ride to get up close to these magnificent creatures of the deep (manual wheelchairs only).

Afterwards you can explore this small town independently, with its open-air craft market in season and coastal path with indigenous fynbos and bird life.

Note: If you take the optional whale watching boat ride, you will need to be lifted into the boat in your wheelchair. Wear a jacket as it can get cold on the boat and take a sun hat, sun glasses, binoculars, sunscreen, camera & small towel. Take your own snacks & drinks. You will be on the water for several hours in seas that can be rough, so if you are not a good sailor remember to take preventative travel sickness tablets well in advance.
Day 7
Transfer 2-hours to Cape Town Airport for your onward flight.

You will be met at Port Elizabeth Airport and transferred 2-hours to your malaria-free private game reserve near Addo  in the beautiful Eastern Cape.

After checking in to your lodge enjoy an afternoon game drive, where game viewing opportunities should present themselves almost immediately. Hopefully see several species of antelope, zebra, wildebeest and maybe even giraffe - as well as several of the Big Five - before dining in your warm African surroundings.

Note: You need some upper body strength for this safari, as you will need to be lifted into the front seat of the game viewing vehicle. If you do not have upper body strength, please enquire about other more suitable safari destinations, where an accessible vehicle is allowed.
Days 8 To 9
Rise at dawn to take advantage of the best game viewing conditions of the day and enjoy a thrilling open-top game viewing safari with a lodge ranger in your East Cape Game Reserve which is home to all the Big 5 - Lion, Elephant, Buffalo, Leopard and Rhino. Hope to see many interesting species before returning to your lodge for breakfast.

The rest of the morning is free to relax by the lodge swimming pool, before setting out again in the late afternoon for another game drive. Hope to see giraffe, hippo, kudu, crocodiles, antelope, waterbuck, warthogs, baboons and many other interesting animals. With hundreds of different bird species, outstanding bird watching is also guaranteed!

After a beautiful African sunset, enjoy the balmy evening and pristine stars of the Milky Way as you have never seen them before – as well as the spectacular Southern Cross.

Note: You need upper body strength for this safari, as you will need to be lifted into the front seat of the game viewing vehicle. Other safari alternatives are available, using an accessible vehicle, if you do not have upper body strength. Note: If travelling with a child < 6 please request a family lodge that allows young children on open top game drives.
Day 10
Enjoy some final early morning game viewing, before your 2-hour transfer to Port Elizabeth Airport for your onward flight.

You will be met at Cape Town Airport and transferred 1-hour to Stellenbosch in the beautiful Cape Winelands.

Check into your hotel, relax under the giant oak trees and savour the food and wine of this famous region.
Day 11
Enjoy a full day tour through the renowned Stellenbosch Winelands, travelling through the scenic Franschhoek Valley where a handful of French Huguenot refugees started South Africa’s now famous wine industry. Visit several different wine estates of your choice – sampling as you go.

Enjoy lunch at a restaurant or wine estate (own account), with the opportunity for more optional wine tastings in the afternoon.
Day 12
At leisure to relax independently at your hotel in the beautiful Stellenbosch, surrounded by mountains and vineyards.

This old university town has many street markets, craft shops and museums, including the Modern & Contemporary Art Gallery and Stellenbosch Botanical Gardens.
Day 13
Transfer 1-hour to Cape Town Airport for your flight home.
