For a sense of adventure, travel by Arab dhow through the spectacular Quirimbas Islands in northern Mozambique. Snorkel from the dhow & experience remote bush camps, sleeping on the beach in dome tents. Finish with a little bit of luxury on historic Ibo Island. English speaking guide, chef and crew included. and transferred 3-hours to the small coastal village of Mucojo, where you will board a traditional Arab dhow and sail with your guide, chef and crew to unnhabited
Mogundula is one of the prettiest islands in the spectacular
and a wonderful base from which to explore the area. Your mobile eco-friendly bush camp will be set up by your crew under the shade of beautiful chestnut trees, whilst you swim and snorkel on the magnificent beach. You will sleep on a stretcher bed with foam mattress with sleeping bag & towels provided, and enjoy delicious seafood meals prepared by your chef. When you leave, no trace will remain of your camp.

Enjoy lazy days exploring historic
, which used to be the main Portuguese trading centre in northern Mozambique and where time appears to have stood still.
We suggest starting with a cultural walking tour of the quiet streets of this fascinating island, with its moss-covered buildings. Then take a 20-minute boat ride to sunbathe and swim from an unspoilt sandbar beach and snorkel among dolphins and fish of all descriptions.
Scuba divers can explore shipwrecks and the pristine Mozambique Reef in warm water and fishermen can try their hand at light tackle, fly-fishing or exhilarating deep sea game fishing in waters considered to be the best for marlin in the world. You can also kayak in the mangroves and take Arab dhow rides at sunset.
