Day 1
You will be met at Cape Town Airport and
transferred to your hotel in this beautiful city, within
sight of Table Mountain.
Check into your hotel, settle in and relax in your
magnificent surroundings.
Day 2
This morning you will be collected from your hotel
around 08h00 for your small group tour along the
dramatic Cape West Coast.
We travel inland to the charming town of Tulbach,
nestled in picturesque mountains, where all the historic
buildings were restored after most of the town was
destroyed by an earthquake in 1969. We sample wines of
the region, before continuing through golden wheat
fields to Piketberg where we visit a jam factory.
Continue to the pretty town of Citrusdal situated
at the gateway to the Cederberg Mountains. This
small town is surrounded by citrus orchards and is a
major producer of Red Bush ("Rooibos") tea.
Day 3
Weather permitting and after a briefing by a local
expert guide, today we walk the Sevilla Trail via
the Pakhuis Pass and past nine San Bushmen Paintings.
This easy hike ends with a picnic lunch on the banks of
the Brandewyn River.
We drive past Englishman's Grave to the picturesque
mission station at Wupperthal, with its quaint
buildings and Velskoen shoe factory, before returning to
our hotel in Citrusdal.
Day 4
Today we head for the coast and the friendly town of
Lutzville, where we visit a vineyard for some
wine tasting and enjoy a short guided walk to a
Bushman cave.
We continue to the coastal villages of Strandfontein and
Doringbaai, before heading inland to Clanwilliam
for overnight.
Day 5
After
breakfast we depart for the coastal town of
Paternoster, a peaceful fishing village that has
sustained a local community for many decades. Enjoy an
included seafood meal on the beach, before we commence
our return journey. Depending upon the rainfall, from
mid August to mid September you may see spectacular
fields of wild flowers as far as the eye can see.
We stop at Blaauberg Strand for postcard views of
Table Mountain, before drop off at your Cape Town
hotel.
Day 6

At leisure to explore the beautiful city of Cape Town
independently.
Choose one of the many local activities such as a visit
to Robben Island, the infamous prison home of
Nelson Mandela (advance booking essential in season);
explore the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront or
simply relax on golden Camps Bay beach – the
choice is yours!
Day 7
Transfer to Cape Town Airport for your flight
home.
Travel times and stops may vary depending on the
interests of fellow guests.
