Day 1
You will be met at Cape Town Airport and transferred to your hotel in this beautiful city, within sight of Table Mountain.

Check in and relax in your magnificent surroundings.
Day 2
This morning is at leisure to explore the beautiful city of Cape Town, including the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront.

In the afternoon team members transfer to play Club Cricket against a local team. All arrangements will be made for you and an umpire will be provided if required.

After an exciting game of cricket, enjoy socialising with the opposition over a traditional South African barbeque (“braai”).
Day 3
At leisure to relax and explore the "Mother City" of Cape Town.

Many optional activities are available in this beautiful city. You can visit Robben Island where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned (advance booking essential in season) and explore the vibrant Victoria & Alfred Waterfront.

You can visit world famous Kirstenbosch Gardens or simply relax on golden Camps Bay beach – the choice is yours.
Day 4
Another morning to enjoy exploring Cape Town, before playing more Club Cricket against a local side.

Afterwards make your own way to the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, which is at the centre of the city's nightlife.
Day 5
Today enjoy a full day private tour to the renowned Stellenbosch Winelands, travelling through the scenic Franschhoek Valley where a handful of French Huguenot refugees started South Africa’s now famous wine industry.

We visit two wine estates, with included wine tastings, and the historic university town of Stellenbosch before enjoying a picnic lunch at a wine estate (own account).

In the afternoon we visit a third wine estate and the Cheetah Outreach project in Somerset West. This community-based programme seeks to raise awareness of the plight of the cheetah and campaign for its survival. Observe these magnificent endangered cats up close, before returning to Cape Town.
Day 6
Transfer to Cape Town Airport for your onward flight.

You will be met at Johannesburg Airport by your safari guide and transferred 2-hours through the rural North West Transvaal to the malaria-free Pilanesberg Game Reserve.

After checking into your game lodge, enjoy your first game drive in your guide's vehicle into this superb Big Five game reserve, uniquely situated inside an extinct volcano. Hopefully see elephants, lions, antelope and a wide variety of other wildlife, before enjoying dinner in your warm African surroundings!
Day 7
Rise at dawn to take advantage of the best game viewing conditions of the day, and enjoy a thrilling open top safari with a lodge ranger into Pilanesberg Game Reserve. We hope to see several of the Big Five - lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard and rhino - as well as many other interesting animals before returning to the lodge for breakfast.

The rest of the morning is free to relax by the swimming pool or visit neighbouring Sun City, before returning to Pilanesberg Game Reserve for a full afternoon of game viewing with your host in his vehicle. We hope to see giraffe, wildebeest, hippo, kudu, antelope, waterbuck, warthogs, baboons and many other interesting species. Outstanding bird watching is also guaranteed.

After a beautiful African sunset, enjoy the balmy evening and pristine stars of the Milky Way as you have never seen them before – as well as the spectacular Southern Cross.
Day 8
Enjoy some final game viewing in the Pilanesberg Game Reserve, before your 2-hour transfer to Johannesburg Airport for your flight home
