Day 1
You will be met at Bengaluru Airport and transferred to your hotel in this  'Garden City'.
 
Bengaluru is the capital of Karnataka state and the hub of the country's vibrant information technology sector. It is the Silicon Valley of India.
Day 2
Today enjoy a half day tour of the "Garden City" of Bengaluru.
 
Your tour will include a visit to the beautiful Lal Bagh Botanical Gardens that feature a glass house, the construction of which was inspired by the Crystal Palace in London.
 
Your afternoon is at leisure to explore more of Bengaluru independently.
Day 3
You will be collected from your Bengaluru hotel today and transferred 4.5-hours through the countryside of Karnataka to Kabini, known for its rich flora and fauna and a nature lover's delight.
 
The Kabini River has its source in Kerala and is a major tributaries of the Cauvery River that flows eastwards through the state of Karnataka. Check into your accommodation in this beautiful region.
Day 4
Today enjoy exploring the flora and fauna of Kabini National Park.
 
Activities vary by lodge but usually include morning and afternoon shared jeep safaris, birding and guided nature walks.
 
Note: You will need to take a copy of your passport with you to enter the national park. Please note that we have no control over the driver and vehicle allocated to you, as this is done by the local park authorities according to a rota. In the winter months wear warm clothes, including woolly hats and gloves to protect you from the wind chill in your open vehicle.
 
This reserve is closed during the Holi & Diwali festivals, as well as during the monsoon season (July to October).
Day 5
Today we travel 5-hours from Kabini to the beautiful hill station of Ooty in the Nilgiri Hills.
 
Also known as Udagamandalam, Ooty was originally occupied by the Todas but came under the rule of the East India Company at the end of the 18th century. Today the town's economy is based on tourism and agriculture.
Day 6
At leisure to relax at the hill station at Ooty, with your driver providing any transfers you may require.
 
Ooty is a major fruit and vegetable producing region and provides respite from the heat of summer.
 
 
Day 7
Today we travel 4-hours from Ooty to the city of Mysuru, situated in the foothills of the Chamundi Hills in Karnataka state.
 
On arrival relax and enjoy this city that is famous for its many palaces and for the celebrations that take place during the Dasara Festival, when the city receives a large number of visitors.
Day 8
This morning enjoy a half day tour of the city of Mysuru (formerly known as Mysore).
 
Mysuru is famous for its many beautiful palaces, including Mysuru Palace which we visit. It is also known for its festivals, including the 10-day Mysuru Dasara that celebrates the victory of good over evil each October, when many people visit the city.
 
We also visit the Spice Market and drive past the Chamundi Hill Bull Temple, which has a massive statue of a bull that is painted black and decorated with garlands.
 
After an afternoon at leisure, in the evening we visit the beautifully illuminated Brindavan Gardens.
Day 9
Today we leave Mysuru and travel 4.5-hours through coffee plantations and beautiful scenery to the hill station at Chikkamagaluru.
 
Check into your hotel in the foothills of the Mullayanagiri Range in the Western Ghats.
Day 10
This morning we drive 1-hour to visit the nearby towns of Halebeedu and Belur, which were both the capitals of the empire of Hoysala Dynasty and have some of the most impressive temples in all of India. They are nearly 1,000 years old.
 
Afterwarsd we return to your hotel with the rest of  your day free to relax in Chikkamagaluru.
Day 11
A full day on the road today as we leave Chikkamagaluru and travel 7-hours through lovely countryside to the ancient city of Hampi in the state of Karnaka.
 
Check into your hotel surrounded by boulders, banana plantations and paddy fields.
Day 12
Spend today exploring the romantic ruined city of Hampi with your guide.
 
This ancient city in the southern state of Karnataka is one of the most breathtakingly beautiful places in the world - serene and surreal with its intricately carved temples, empty and crumbling among giant red-gold boulders and banana trees. Hampi is dotted with ruined temples from the 14th century Vijayanagara Empire and is today a UNESCO Worlds Heritage site, with over 550 monuments and temples.
 
On the southern bank of the River Tungabhadra is the 7th-century Hindu Virupaksha Temple. A carved stone chariot stands in front of the huge Vittala Temple site. Other places of interest include the Elephant Stables, Queen’s Bath, the Lotus Mahal and the Zanana enclosure, used by royal women.
Days 13 To 14
Today we visit the Daroji Bear Sanctuary situated southeast of Hampi. This sanctuary was created exclusively to protect Indian sloth bears.
 
Your afternoon is free to relax at your hotel or explore more of Hampi with your guide.
Day 15
A full day on the road today as we leave Karnataka state and travel 6-hours across the scenic Western Ghats mountains to Goa.
 
On arrival you will de dropped off at your hotel in this holiday city, which was once a Portuguese colony and is the smallest state in India.
 
Check in and relax at your beach resort, offering miles and miles of golden beaches and spectacular sunshine.
Day 16
At leisure to relax and enjoy the splendid beaches of Goa on the Arabian Sea.
 
You can visit historic Old Goa (Panjim), a World Heritage Site, and the 16th century Portuguese fort, Fort Aguada. Take a guided tour of a restored colonial mansion, such as the Palacio do Deao by the Kushavati River in Quepem, and in Loutolim visit the Ancestral Goa Centre (or Big Foot Museum) that has recreated a traditional Goan village to showcase local customs.
 
Goa is a great destination for eating out, with delicious curries and other international cuisine. The shopping is also outstanding. Tailors will make you a fitted suit, tailored dress or whatever you fancy for a fraction of the cost back home, and prescription spectacles are very cheap. The local markets are also fantastic and don’t forget to sample feni spirit, made from cashew apples or coconut palm sap.
 
Goa is also renowned for its holistic spas and new age treatments, as well as its yoga sessions and fantastic sunsets over the Arabian Sea.
Day 17
Transfer to Goa Airport for your flight to Mumbai, where you will be met and transferred to a hotel near the airport, where one dayroom has been arranged.
 
Later transfer back to Mumbai Airport for your flight home.
