When to go to Mozambique

Mozambique has a warm sub-tropical climate.
 
The best time to visit Mozambique is from April to October (the dry season). The rainy season runs from November to March, when afternoon tropical thunderstorms can be expected. January to March is the cyclone season and should be avoided.
 
Diving is good all year round, with visibility best from October to May. You can see whale sharks and manta rays at Tofu Beach is November and December. Migrating humpback whales can be seen from July to November. Sea turtles nest on the beaches from November to April.
