Then fly to the paradise islands of the Seychelles, exploring the small laid-back island of La Digue by bicyle or on foot, before relaxing on the main island of Mahe. All light aircraft flights & transfers included.

Day 1
You will be met at Abu Dhabi Airport and transferred to your hotel situated near the Corniche Promenade.

Check in and relax in this ultra-modern city that is located on a series of island in the Persian Gulf, and is the capital of the United Arab Emirates.
Days 2 To 3
At leisure to relax on the beach or explore the spread-out city of Abu Dhabi.

The Hop Off Bus is a great way of seeing the highlights, as it includes free entrance to the Sky Tower at Marina Mall and a shuttle to the entertainment hub of Yas Island. Here you will find the Formula One Grand Prix track and Ferrari World, an indoor theme park with the world's faster roller coaster - Formula Rossa. Also Yas Waterworld.

In the city make sure you stroll along the 4-mile Corniche Promenade and visit the stunning Qasr al Watan presidential complex. The majestic Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is another 'must see'. With more than 80 marble domes and over 1,000 marble columns inlaid with semi-precious stones, it can be seen from each of the bridges that link Abu Dhabi to the mainland.

Enjoy the fabulous architecture of the Emirates Palace Hotel, but be aware that you will need a dinner reservation to gain admittance. Art lovers can head to the Guggenheim Abu Dhabi in the cultural district on Saadiyat Island and shoppers can spend time (and money) at the World Trade Centre Mall.

Other options include a guided tour of the Falcon Hospital and a thrilling Desert Safari to experience dune boarding, riding a camel and watching belly dancing. You can also visit neighbouring Dubai, which is 1-5 hours to the north.
Day 4
Transfer to Abu Dhabi Airport for your onward flight.

Arrive at Mahe Airport in the beautiful Seychelles and connect with your light aircraft flight to Praslin Island. Here you will be met and transferred to the harbour for the 15-minute ferry to La Digue, the fourth largest granitic island in the Seychelles archipelago.

The pace of life is slower here, with all transport by bicycle or golf cart. Check into your accommodation and enjoy the famous beaches and wildlife of this relatively less developed island.
Days 5 To 6
At leisure to relax at your hotel, enjoy kayaking in the ocean or explore the island of La Digue by hired bicycle or on foot.

Be sure to visit Anse Source D'Argent, one of the most photographed beaches in the world with its gigantic granite boulders, palm trees and turquoise waters. It is a level 10-minute cycle ride or 40-minute walk from the village. When you arrive, don’t stop at the first cove but walk along the beach as there are many more coves that are less crowded.

Also visit Veuve Nature Reserve, which is home to the rare black paradise flycatcher, of which there are only about 100 left in the wild. From here you can enjoy views of La Digue's tallest peak - Belle Vue (or Eagle's Nest Mountain).

Full day snorkelling excursions by boat are available to Coco Island, Félicité and Sister Island and there are several dive centres on the island.

If you are fit and enjoy an energetic hike, pack a picnic lunch and walk for 1-hour each way to Anse Marron at the southern end of the island, where you can swim in a spectacular natural pool. You can also cycle to Grande Anse or hike to Anse Cocos on the other side of the island. Each evening enjoy the beautiful sunset.

Note: Bicycle hire can be arranged through our local representative on arrival on the island (approx. €12 per day).
Day 7
Today take the 1.5-hour ferry from La Digue, travelling via Praslin to Mahe.

You will be met at Mahe Harbour and transferred to your hotel. Check in and relax on this beautiful main island of the Seychelles archipelago.
Days 8 To 10
At leisure to relax on the pristine beach of your lodge on Mahe, the largest island in the Seychelles, and enjoy swimming, snorkelling and kayaking in the crystal clear turquoise waters. Diving, deep sea game fishing and horse riding are also available.

Mahe island is home to the capital town of Victoria, where you can visit the beautiful Botanical Gardens which has indigenous giant tortoises that live for over 200 years - longer than any other creature on our planet. You can explore the island on an optional day tour that visits the fresh produce market with its wonderful array of spices and fresh fish, walk past 'Big Ben' and drive along the scenic San Soucis Road to the ruins of the missionary school at Mission Lodge (originally called Venn's Town), with wonderful views over the island.

An optional full day snorkelling excursion is available to Sainte Anne Marine Park. Tropical fish inhabit these coral reefs, where dolphins are sometimes seen, as well as sperm whale (July/August) and whale sharks (August to October). Leatherback and endangered hawksbill turtles nest on some of the beaches in December and January, with hatchlings emerging in March and April.

You can also take an easy 1.5-hour guided hike through beautiful Morne Seychelles National Park, ending at Anse Major Bay. From here cruise by boat to secluded Baie Ternay Marine Park for some swimming and snorkelling. There are many other wonderful walks around this island, ranging from the easy trail to Glacis Trois Freres, to the much tougher hike to Mare aux Cochons.

Full day optional island hopping excursion are available, travelling by ferry to neighbouring Praslin and La Digue islands. Praslin is home to the Vallee de Mai reserve, where the unique Coco de Mer palm tree is found, and where you can swim and snorkel on beautiful Anse Lazio beach. Small car-free La Digue has a quaint harbour and famous Anse Source d'Argent, one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, with its huge granitic boulders and clear turquoise waters.
Day 11
Transfer to Mahe Airport for your flight home.
