Day 1
You will be met at Nairobi Airport and transferred to your hotel in this bustling city.

Check in and relax in your warm and friendly African surroundings.
Day 2
This morning transfer to Nairobi Railway Station in good time to board the Madaraka Express train (first class) departing at 08.20 and travelling 3-hours towards Mombasa.

On arrival at Mtito Andei Station you will be met and transferred to Tsavo National Park. On the way to your lodge enjoy game viewing in this vast national park, which is divided into an eastern and western section by the railway line and national road and is one of the oldest and largest wildlife conservation areas in Kenya. As the park is unfenced, animals migrate freely across both sectors.

Check into your safari lodge and enjoy the unique atmosphere of the Kenyan bushveld.

Note: Train tickets can only be booked 90 days in advance and will be handed to you on your arrival in Kenya. Luggage on the train is limited to 30 kg. Alcohol cannot be brought on the train or any potentially flammable aerosols (eg deodorants, hairspray or sunscreen).
Day 3
Today is devoted to game viewing with your guide in the western sector of Tsavo National Park.

At over 7,000 square miles (11,747 square km), this vast national park is the largest in Kenya and is named after the Tsavo River that flows through it. On a clear day you can enjoy wonderful views of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, which is usually surrounded by clouds.

Tsavo West is particularly scenic with its mountain landscapes, bushveld and volcanic lava from the Chyulu Hills. Wildlife is plentiful and diverse with particularly good elephant sightings, as large herds roam freely between Tsavo and Amboseli. Lion, buffalo, leopard and wild dog are present and plains game is plentiful - including giraffe, zebra, the small dik-dik, Grant's gazelle, kudu, waterbuck, bushbuck, eland, oryx, wildebeest, vervet monkey and baboon. Hippo and crocodile can be seen in the rivers and also keep an eye out for smaller animals such as the hyrax, mongoose, monitor lizard, chameleon and tortoise. There is also a great variety of birdlife including hornbill, guineafowl, francolin and ostrich.
Day 4
This morning transfer to Mtito Andei Station in good time to board the Madaraka Express train (first class) travelling 3-hours to Mombasa.

On arrival you will be met at Mombasa Railway Station and transferred 2-hours by road and ferry to Diani Beach on the south coast.

Check into your hotel situated on the shores of the sparkling Indian Ocean and relax in your warm beach surroundings.

Days 5 To 7
Rise early for a half day (up to 5-hours) of exciting Deep Sea Fishing in the turquoise waters of the warm Indian Ocean.

Depart from Diani Beach with your skipper around 06.30, with all tackle, packed lunch, water & soft drinks provided. This region is especially good for black marlin (mid-September to December) and sailfish (mid-May to mid-October), but these waters are also home to swordfish, big wahoo, benito, king & queen mackerel, giant trevally, yellowfin tuna, barracuda, groupers, snappers and various sharks – including Zambezi, dusky, blacktip, hammerhead and tiger. The practice here is tag and release. There are also inshore species for light tackle and fly fishermen.

Spend the rest of the day relaxing on glorious Diani Beach.

Note: Fishing is good all year, but at its best from November to February. Most boats do not operate during May and June (the end of the rainy season, when the sea is very rough and the boats are out of the water for maintenance).
Day 8
Transfer 2-hours by road and local ferry to Mombasa Airport for your flight home.

Note: All inclusive programmes stop after check-out at 10 am, so you will need to pay for any food or drink consumed after this time.
