The rest of the morning is free to relax by the swimming pool or enjoy bird watching at the lodge, before setting out again in the late afternoon for another game drive. You can hope to see cheetah, giraffe, hippo, kudu, crocodiles, sable antelope, waterbuck, warthogs, baboons and many other interesting wild animals. With over 500 different bird species including eagles, kingfishers, vultures and storks, outstanding bird watching is also guarantee. After a beautiful African sunset, enjoy dining under the stars.

Note: Children < 6 are not allowed on open top game drives.

Days 6 To 9
At leisure to swim, snorkel and dive in the warm blue waters of the Indian Ocean at Tofo Beach.

Optional activities vary by lodge but can include windsurfing, kite flying, ocean ski paddling and catamaran sailing. You can also take long walks along the beach and enjoy the prolific birdlife, with over 100 different species including flamingos and pelicans.

Scuba divers can explore the pristine Mozambique Reef, famous for encounters with enormous whale sharks, reef and giant mantas. These huge marine mammals are present throughout the year, but are seen most often between September and February, when they gather here in profusion to breed.

Fishermen can try their hand at exhilarating deep sea game fishing, in waters considered to be the best for marlin in the world. The best months for black, blue and striped marlin are between October and January, whilst the sailfish season runs from June to August.
