When to go to Tigers of Central India

Central India has a hot subtropical climate, with a large variation between summer and winter temperatures.
 
The best time to visit is from mid-October to March (winter) to avoid the extreme heat of midsummer and the monsoon rains which fall from June to September, when most tiger reserves are closed
 
But the best time for tiger safari holidays in India is the end of the dry season (March and April), when the tigers search out the waterholes and lakes.
 
Birding is best from October to early April.
