Thakadu River Camp is situated in the malaria-free Madikwe Game Reserve, overlooking the river and valley below, between the Marico River and a small tributary of the Marico. The lodge is an African bushveld oasis, consisting of wooden structures featuring high, beamed ceilings with thatched, rafted roofs.
