Today enjoy a private tour of the beautiful city of Cape Town.

Weather permitting, we start by ascending Table Mountain by cable car to see one of the world's most famous views (alternatively we will drive up Signal Hill). We then drive around the city to see the key sights including the City Hall, Greenmarket Square, Houses of Parliament, Bo Kaap, Castle of Good Hope, District Six and Sea Point. before enjoying a Harbour Cruise.

Afterwards explore the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, with its many shops and restaurants (return taxi for own account).

Note: Table Mountain cable car is closed for annual maintenance from mid July to end August.
Day 3
At leisure to explore more of the beautiful city of Cape Town.

You can visit the Mandela Legacy Exhibition at the City Hall, explore the vibrant Victoria & Alfred Waterfront or take the ferry to Robben Island, where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned (advance booking essential in season).

From July to November you can take an optional whale watching trip to Hermanus.

Alternatively you can take the Hop Off bus (Blue Route) to visit world famous Kirstenbosch Gardens or simply relax on golden Camps Bay Beach.

We travel to Hout Bay, where there is the option to take a short boat trip to view Cape Fur seals at Seal Island (pay locally). We then continue along Chapman’s Peak Drive to spectacular Cape Point, where you may see baboons, ostriches and perhaps even dolphins or whales in season (July/November). The funicular up to the Old Lighthouse is included.

On the return journey we pass through naval Simons Town and visit the resident penguin colony at Boulders Beach.

Note: Lunch is for your own account today.
Day 5
Transfer to Cape Town Airport for your onward flight.

You will be met at Mpumalanga Airport and transferred between 2 and 3.5-hours (depending on the location of your lodge) to the world famous Kruger National Park.

After checking in, enjoy a thrilling game drive in an open-top vehicle accompanied by a lodge ranger. Game viewing opportunities should present themselves almost immediately in this vast wildlife wilderness. Hopefully you will see several species of antelope, zebra, wildebeest and maybe even giraffe - as well as several of the Big Five - before dining under the stars in the atmosphere that only the African bushveld can provide.
Day 6
Rise at dawn to take advantage of the best game viewing conditions of the day, as you enjoy a thrilling shared open-top game viewing drive with a lodge ranger in the world famous Kruger National Park.

Explore some of this vast game sanctuary that is the size of Wales, offering magnificent game viewing opportunities and the highest concentration of lion in the whole of Africa. Hope to see several of the Big Five today - lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard and rhino - as well as many other species before returning to your lodge for breakfast.

The rest of the morning is free to relax by the swimming pool or enjoy bird watching at the lodge, before setting out again in the late afternoon for another game drive. With nearly 150 different species of mammals and over 100 species of reptiles in the Kruger National Park, you can hope to see cheetah, giraffe, hippo, kudu, crocodiles, sable antelope, waterbuck, warthogs, baboons, wild dogs and many other interesting animals. With over 500 different bird species including eagles, kingfishers, vultures and storks, outstanding bird watching is also guaranteed.

After a beautiful African sunset, enjoy the balmy evening and pristine stars of the Milky Way as you have never seen them before – as well as the spectacular Southern Cross.
Day 7
After a final early morning game drive in the Kruger National Park, transfer 1 to 3-hours (depending on the location of your lodge) to your hotel near Hazyview on the scenic Panorama Route.

Check in and relax in this region that is famous for its beauty and wildlife.
Day 8
Transfer to Mpumalanga Airport for your onward flight.

You will be met at Livingstone Airport and transferred to your hotel on the banks of the Zambezi River, near the mighty Victoria Falls.

Check in, settle in and relax whilst you catch your first glimpses of the magnificent Smoke That Thunders first discovered by Dr. David Livingstone and still one of the greatest natural wonders of the world. The flow of water over the Victoria Falls is greatest from February to June following the summer rains and is a magnificent sight.

Please note that the Zambian side of the falls dries up in October and November, when it is better to visit the Zimbabwean side.
Day 9
Today we recommend exploring on foot the mighty Victoria Falls and its rainforest.

Afterwards you can participate in optional activities such as a helicopter flight over the falls or an elephant interaction.

In the late afternoon enjoy an included cruise on the Zambezi River where you may see hippos, crocodiles and abundant birdlife.

Note: We suggest you take your own raincoat for walking in the rainforest, as those on hire are well used. There is also the option of crossing over to the Zimbabwean side of the falls for postcard views (passport and uni-visa required). This is essential in the dry water season.
Day 10
At leisure to relax at your hotel near the magnificent Victoria Falls.

Many optional activities are on offer, such as a helicopter flight over the falls or a game drive in Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park. Adrenalin seekers can participate in adventure activities such as canoeing in the gentler rapids above the falls, abseiling or white water rafting in the turbulent gorge below the falls (grade 5), or bungee jumping from Victoria Falls Bridge.
Day 11
Transfer to Livingstone Airport for your flight home.
