You will be met at Cape Town Airport and transferred to your hotel in this beautiful city, within sight of Table Mountain.

Check in and relax in your magnificent surroundings.
Day 2
Today enjoy a full day private tour of the beautiful city of Cape Town.

Weather permitting, we start by ascending Table Mountain by cable car to see one of the world's most famous views (alternatively we will drive up Signal Hill). We then drive around the city to see the key sights including the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, City Hall, Greenmarket Square, Houses of Parliament, Bo Kaap, Castle of Good Hope, District Six and Sea Point.

After lunch (own account) we continue to beautiful Kirstenbosch Gardens, nestled on the eastern slopes of Table Mountain and regarded as one the most beautiful botanic gardens in the world. Bequeathed to the nation by Cecil John Rhodes, the garden was established 1913. There is an avenue of camphor trees, a beautiful protea and fynbos garden, useful plants garden, sculpture garden and a dell garden as well as a world class collection of indigenous South African flora. Wonderful summer sunset concerts are held in the gardens on Sunday evenings from December to March.

Note: Table Mountain cable car is closed for annual maintenance from mid July to end August.
Day 3
At leisure to relax at your hotel or independently explore the vibrant Victoria & Alfred Waterfront.

You can also visit the Mandela Legacy Exhibition at the City Hall, but if you want an accessible transfer this needs to be booked in advance.
Day 4
Today your guide will collect you for a full day tour to the beautiful Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve.

Enjoy wonderful ocean views as we drive around the Cape Peninsula to naval Simonstown, where we visit the resident penguin colony at Boulders Beach.

We continue to Cape Point where we hope to see baboons, ostrich and perhaps even dolphins or whales in season (July to November). We take an accessible funicular ride up to the Old Lighthouse, before returning via spectacular Chapman’s Peak Drive to Hout Bay and Cape Town.
Day 5
Transfer 2-hours today from Cape Town to the small seaside town of Hermanus.

Check in to your hotel and enjoy the natural beauty of the coastline. From July to November, southern right and humpback whales come here to breed and this is considered the best location for land-based Whale Watching in the world. Once severely endangered, these magnificent creatures of the deep are now breeding successfully in the area due to a major international conservation effort.
Day 6
In season, enjoy Whale Watching from the cliffs of Hermanus. Weather permitting, you can book an optional boat ride to get up close to these magnificent creatures of the deep (manual wheelchairs only).

Afterwards you can explore this small town independently, with its open-air craft market in season and coastal path with indigenous fynbos and bird life.

Note: If you take the optional whale watching boat ride, you will need to be lifted into the boat in your wheelchair. Wear a jacket as it can get cold on the boat and take a sun hat, sun glasses, binoculars, sunscreen, camera & small towel. Take your own snacks & drinks. The sea can be rough, so if you are not a good sailor remember to take preventative travel sickness tablets well in advance.
Day 7
Today transfer 2-hours from Hermanus to Stellenbosch in the beautiful Cape Winelands.

Check into your hotel in this famous wine producing area, relax under the giant oak trees and savour the fine food and wines of this region.
Day 8
Enjoy a full day tour through the renowned Stellenbosch Winelands, travelling through the scenic Franschhoek Valley where a handful of French Huguenot refugees started South Africa’s now famous wine industry. Visit several different wine estates of your choice – sampling as you go.

Enjoy lunch at a restaurant or wine estate (own account), with the opportunity for more optional wine tastings in the afternoon.
Day 9
Today we explore the university town of Stellenbosch, with its many street markets, craft shops and museums - including the Modern & Contemporary Art Gallery.

Afterwards we visit Stellenbosch Botanical Gardens or enjoy optional wine tasting along the famous wine routes of Stellenbosch, Franschhoek and Paarl.
Day 10
At leisure to relax independently at your hotel in the beautiful Stellenbosch, surrounded by mountains and vineyards.

This old university town has many street markets, craft shops and museums, including the Modern & Contemporary Art Gallery and Stellenbosch Botanical Gardens.
Day 11
Transfer 1-hour to Cape Town Airport for your flight home.
