Known as the 'Marlin Capital of the World”, this angler's paradise offers some of the best sports fishing in the world. These waters are particularly renowned for striped marlin, blue marlin, black marlin, yellowfin tuna, Pacific sailfish, roosterfish, sea bass, yellow grouper, Pacific jack crevalle, mahi mahi and sierra mackerel. There are also a variety of sharks, wahoo, dorado, snappers, rays and much more.
Fishing can be done all year round, but May to November offer the best opportunities as fish are abundant then and feeding aggressively.
